W section pales are commonly specified where greater profile depth and resistance are required. D section systems provide a practical commercial-security option. Pale thickness, head style, rail configuration and post centres are reviewed together.
Finish and service environment
Galvanizing and powder coating are quoted against the agreed steel specification and intended exposure. Coastal or aggressive environments should be identified during the RFQ so the coating system can be reviewed separately.
Gates that maintain the fence line
Pedestrian and vehicle gates can be coordinated to match the pale profile, height and finish of the boundary. Gate width, handing, latch, posts and automation interface should be confirmed from the access schedule.
