A comparable quotation starts with a defined system. Record the infill, dimensions, posts, fixing method, finish, gate openings and inspection requirements on one drawing and component schedule.
Palisade Specification
Define W or D profile, pale thickness, head type, rail dimensions, post centres and fixing method. Include required finish and installation drawings.
Welded Mesh Specification
Define the mesh aperture, wire dimensions, panel size, post section and fixing arrangement. For 2D panels, specify both horizontal and vertical wire dimensions.
Gate Schedule
List clear opening width, leaf arrangement, height, infill, handing, latch and any automation interfaces. Confirm whether posts are in-ground or base-plated.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are post centres the same as rail length?
No. In the published standard palisade system the nominal post centres are 2,750 mm, while each box-section rail is 2,710 mm long. Use the approved connection drawing when ordering components.
Does a supplier assessment certify every fencing product?
No. Supplier assessments describe the assessed business and scope. Product certificates and test reports must match the exact product, configuration and order requirement.
What should the enquiry include if the design is unfinished?
Provide the application, boundary layout, required height, approximate quantity and destination. Identify which dimensions, finish or performance requirements still need to be agreed.
