Which razor wire type should I specify?
Concertina uses clipped expanding coils, single coil is an unclipped spiral, flat wrap sits in one plane, and straight-line wire runs between supports. Specify the installed arrangement on your drawing.
Does BTO-22 describe a complete coil?
No. It identifies a blade profile, not the coil diameter, turn count, clip pattern, installed coverage or material. Include those separately.
Is coil diameter the same as core-wire diameter?
No. Coil diameter describes the overall coil size; core-wire diameter describes the wire inside the blade tape.
Can I request stainless steel?
State the required stainless grade for blade tape, core wire and clips. The chosen configuration is reviewed and confirmed in the quotation.
Can razor wire be quoted with fencing?
Yes. Send the fence and topping drawings together to review brackets, mounting holes, support wire and fixing quantities.
