Compare systems & plan your fence order

Start with the site brief. A high security fencing enquiry needs more than a fence height. Set out the boundary length, access points and the purpose of each fence line. Mark public areas, service roads and restricted zones on a plan. Tell us which drawings and project requirements the quotation must follow. Where a security rating is specified, ask for evidence for the exact proposed system. Agree this before choosing a product or placing an order.

Compare the complete systems. Our range includes steel and GRP palisade, 358 mesh, 2D twin-wire and 3D V-mesh fencing. Open the relevant product category to compare the available designs. For palisade, check the pale profile, rails, post centres and fixing set. For welded mesh, check the panel size, aperture, wire sizes and post connection. A panel-only price cannot be compared directly with a complete fence bay. Use the same supply list when you review quotations.

Turn the boundary plan into a parts schedule. Count straight bays, corners, ends and changes in direction. Mark slopes, steps and changes in ground level. Identify which posts sit in the ground and which need a base plate. Ask your project designer to confirm the foundations and site loads. Do not assume that a standard bay fits every part of the boundary. List spare panels, pales and fixings separately so that they are easy to check.

Include gates at the start. Show the clear opening, gate height and pedestrian or vehicle use. State the opening direction and any access-control needs. Confirm the gate posts, hinges, locks and other hardware in the supply scope. Check where the fence meets each gate post. If different suppliers provide the fence and gates, agree the connection details before production. Review our security gate range alongside the fence schedule.

Plan repeat wholesale orders. Importers and distributors can use a written stock schedule to keep orders consistent. Record the product reference, dimensions, finish and included parts for each line. Keep the approved drawing with that schedule. For a repeat order, check any change in posts, brackets or fixings before mixing it with existing stock. Separate standard stock needs from project-specific items. Our wholesale supply page explains the information to prepare for a supply enquiry.

Compare quote scope and delivery terms. Ask for fence materials, gates, spares and packing to be identified clearly. State your destination and requested delivery term. Check which freight, unloading and destination costs are included or excluded. Confirm the order quantity and proposed lead time against the final drawing and finish. Treat the quotation as a defined supply scope, with any assumptions written down, rather than comparing only a price per metre.

Agree how the order will be checked. Before production, identify the dimensions, coating checks and packing records your team needs. Agree when checks will take place and which records you will receive. Match the packing list to the approved parts schedule. Use bundle labels to separate fence runs or product lines where needed. Review our quality and inspection information, then include any project-specific acceptance requirements in your enquiry.

Technical guidance
How do I choose high security fencing for my site?

Start with the site risk and the project specification. Compare steel palisade with close-aperture 358 mesh. Check the height, posts, fixings and gates as one system. A mesh panel alone does not define the strength of the whole fence. Mark corners, slopes and access points on your plan. If the project needs a security rating, ask for the test report before you order. Check that it covers the exact fence, posts and fixings offered.

What should a complete security fence quotation include?

Ask for a list of panels or pales, rails, posts, fixings and gates. State the fence length, corners, end points and changes in level. Check which posts serve the ends, corners and gates. Confirm the finish and the number of each part per bay. Ask what is included in the price and what is quoted separately. Compare quotes against the same drawing and parts list, rather than price per metre alone.

Is KUNYU a manufacturer or a trading company?

KUNYU PERIMETER supplies fencing through Zhejiang Kunyu Wiremesh Co., Ltd. and associated manufacturing operations. The Hangzhou company handles sales and exports. Our audit summaries name each business and explain its role. Buyers can check which report covers the factory and which covers trading. Review the named business, product scope and report date when you assess the supplier.

Which perimeter fencing products can I source together?

You can enquire about steel palisade, 358 anti-climb mesh, 2D twin-wire mesh, 3D V-mesh and security gates. Palisade parts include pales, rails, posts, fishplates and fixings. Match each part to the chosen range. Rail lengths, post centres and bolt patterns can differ. For a repeat order, send the old drawing or part list so we can check the fit. Gate openings and gate posts should be listed separately from standard fence bays.

What quality evidence can I review before ordering?

Review our supplier audit summaries and batch inspection examples with customer details removed. The examples show checks on size, coatings, welds and export packing. An audit of a supplier is not a certificate for every product it sells. Tell us which tests and records your project needs. We will confirm the scope for the selected system. Check the named product, test method and report date before you approve an order.

What should UK and South African buyers send for a quotation?

Send the fence type and height, total length or bay count, finish and gate openings. Include the project specification, a drawing or bill of quantities, and the delivery port or postcode. Tell us your required delivery date. We will confirm the minimum order quantity (MOQ), lead time, packing and freight terms for that order. These vary by product and quantity. Check what the quoted freight covers, including the agreed destination and any exclusions.

How do I specify the finish for my fence?

For standard steel palisade, choose a hot-dip galvanised finish or ask about powder coated colours. State the colour and the coating requirement in your enquiry. Tell us if the fence will be near the coast or exposed to harsh site conditions. Check that the gates, posts and fixings suit the same site. Ask which coating checks and records are included. Confirm the finish on the order drawing before production.

What should I confirm about packing and delivery?

Ask for the planned pack sizes, part counts and labels for each fence range. Agree how posts, panels, gates and loose fixings will be identified. This helps your team check the shipment on arrival. Tell us about unloading limits at the port, warehouse or site. Confirm the lead time and freight terms before placing the order. Packing photos and batch records should be agreed as part of the order scope.
