Technical details
Reference component dimensions for quotation and drawing review. Pressed-steel arms, angle supports and clips are separate component types; select the component and mounting details that match your layout.
| Component types | Pressed-steel arms, angle-section supports, connecting clips and straining wire |
|---|---|
| Pressed-arm length options | 355 / 420 / 500 / 600 mm |
| Pressed-arm thickness options | 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0 / 2.5 mm |
| Arm arrangement | 45° single arm; V arrangement for 2 / 4 / 6 support-wire strands |
| Angle-support section reference | 40 × 40 × 5 mm steel angle |
| Angle-support arm / foot | 567 mm inclined arm + 280 mm fixing foot, at 45° |
| Angle-support fixing reference | 8.5 mm fixing holes for an M8 fastening interface |
| Clip blank dimensions | 37 mm developed length × 10 mm width × 1.2 mm thickness |
| Clip material reference | Galvanised steel; compatible tool and closed profile checked against the wire |
| Straining-wire reference | 2.5 mm diameter; strength and termination specification by layout |
| Material and finish options | Hot-dip galvanised steel; stainless or coated alternatives reviewed separately |
| Mounting information | Fence-post section or wall plate, hole centres, substrate and required projection |
| Coil compatibility | Match to the selected support drawing; the 567/280 mm example is for 450/500 mm topping references |
| Supply unit | Pieces or itemised component kits; razor wire coils listed separately |
| Component | Size / section | Thickness / bore | Selection detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pressed-steel arm | 355 / 420 / 500 / 600 mm length | 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0 / 2.5 mm | Choose length, material and matching post connection |
| 45° angle support | 567 mm arm + 280 mm foot; 40 × 40 mm angle | 5 mm angle; 8.5 mm holes | M8 interface; 450/500 mm topping reference |
| Connecting clip | 37 × 10 mm developed blank | 1.2 mm | Check closed shape, wire profile and crimping tool |
| Straining wire | 2.5 mm diameter | Solid wire | Match anchors, supports and tensioning requirements |
Component examples are not an interchangeable kit or a structural load rating. The angle-support example must not be assumed suitable for 730/900 mm coils; larger coils and other mounting conditions require a separate drawing review.
The product
A razor wire topping needs a compatible support and connection schedule. Brackets, clips, support wire and anchors are selected from the coil or strip arrangement and the existing fence or wall. Send the mounting drawing and a component list so each item can be quoted individually, with the included parts clearly identified.
Prepare your enquiry
Specify the steel tape, core wire and connecting clips separately. For stainless steel, state the required grade for each component. For galvanised products, include the required coating mass and inspection method in your enquiry.
Request the required wrapping, coil protection, carton or pallet arrangement. Net and gross weight, packed dimensions, minimum order quantity, production timing and delivery terms are confirmed in the quotation for the selected configuration.
Agree checks for the blade profile, tape thickness, core-wire diameter, overall dimensions, connections, finish and packing labels. Send any project-specific test or certificate requirements with the order schedule.
The published selection fields describe information to include in an enquiry. Confirm the final dimensions, tolerances, material and packing in the quotation and order drawing before purchase.
| MOQ and lead time | Confirmed after specification and quantity review |
|---|---|
| Packing and weight | Recorded against the selected configuration |
| Delivery | Provide destination country and port for quotation |
Send your specification, quantity and destination.
Prepare a product enquiryBuyer questions
No. The section, fixing positions, projection and mounting detail must match the fence or wall and the selected topping. Send dimensions or drawings of the existing support.
Only the components listed in the quotation are included. Ask for a complete topping schedule if you need coils, brackets, support wire and fixings quoted together.
Yes. Identify the required bracket, clip, supporting-wire and fastener materials separately. The quotation confirms the component grades, finish and dimensional drawing.
The size and material selectors record your requested specification. Availability, tolerances, supplied dimensions and packing are confirmed in the quotation and approved order drawing.
Send the component type, arm length and thickness, mounting-hole centres, post or wall detail, material, quantity and destination. Include the coil size and a mounting drawing when requesting a complete topping package.
The 37 × 10 × 1.2 mm reference describes the developed metal blank, not the finished opening. The closed profile, razor-wire geometry and application tool must be checked together.
No. The 567 mm arm and 280 mm foot are a dimensional reference associated with 450/500 mm topping. Larger coils, different substrates and fixing loads need their own mounting review.
