Prison Fencing Specification Review
Prison fencing requires a project-specific specification and evidence review. Identify the authority’s requirements before selecting mesh, posts, fixings and gates. A product described as prison mesh is not automatically approved for a particular facility; acceptance depends on the complete configuration and supporting documentation.

Prison mesh specification
The 358 construction reference uses 76.2 × 12.7 mm nominal mesh and 4 mm wire. Those dimensions describe the mesh, not prison approval. Panel dimensions, overlap, supports and connections must match the project design.
Secure access and transitions
Gate openings and transitions between fence runs need their own drawings. Define the infill, threshold, clear opening, hinges, locks and interfaces with access equipment. Check responsibilities for installation and commissioning separately.
Topping and support schedule
Where the authorised design specifies a topping, identify the material, geometry, support brackets and fixings on the order schedule. A coil specification alone does not define an approved perimeter arrangement.

Dimensions are selection references. Final geometry, structural design, installation responsibilities and required evidence are confirmed against approved project documents.
Manufacturing and coordinated supply
Send the layout, fence schedule, gate drawings and quantities to KUNYU. We coordinate panel or pale manufacture, posts, connection details and packing around the agreed specification.
State the finish, colour reference, delivery destination and required shipment phases. The quotation identifies manufacturing supply, freight terms and any separately arranged installation or civil works.
Common questions
Is prison mesh automatically approved for a prison project?
No. The project authority determines the required specification and evidence. A mesh name alone does not establish acceptance.
What should a prison fencing specification review include?
