Pedestrian gate enquiry configurations
Reference opening and height choices are enquiry inputs. Powered operation, closers and electronic access control are separate agreed scopes.
The product
System & supply overview
A pedestrian gate enquiry should begin with clear passage width, gate height and the required opening direction. Identify the infill, manual locking arrangement and whether a fixed panel is needed above the opening. Gate leaf width, clear opening and overall post-to-post dimensions are different measurements. The final drawing should define the frame, posts, hinges, stops and lock positions. Access control or powered operation requires a separate agreed scope and is not included by default.
- ✓Record the usable clear opening rather than only the leaf width.
- ✓Review opening direction, hinges and locking as one gate schedule.
- ✓Keep 656 and 868 infill choices on the same gate page.

Buyer questions
Frequently asked questions
Is clear opening the same as the gate leaf width?+
No. Clear opening describes the usable passage. The leaf, hinges, frame and post positions require separate dimensions on the approved drawing.
Can the gate use either 656 or 868 mesh?+
Specify the required wire schedule with your fence order. The approved drawing defines the actual infill, frame and connections. Photographs show configurations and do not verify the wire diameter.
What is included in a gate set?+
The quotation should list the leaf, gate posts, hinges, locking parts and stops. Ask for closers or access-control interfaces separately; powered operation is not assumed.
What information is needed for an export quotation?+
Send the product and quantity, destination country or port, selected finish and the relevant panel or gate schedule. Include project drawings, required inspection scope and the target delivery date.
How are packing and lead time agreed?+
Panel, post, gate and fixing quantities are reviewed separately. The quotation records packing protection, package identification, net and gross weights, commercial terms and the production schedule for the agreed specification.
